The School of Missional Practice at Missional University is excited to welcome Dr. Gail Whitaker to the Organizational Leadership department. She serves as Professor of International Business Mission and an Operational Management specialist. Dr. Whitaker brings more than 20 years of experience in all aspects of business management, including international business, strategic management, human resources, labor relations and information systems. She has also focused on communication styles and evangelism, ethics, diversity and inclusion, and church growth. In her career, Dr. Whitaker has had the opportunity to serve in a wide variety of university administrative and leadership roles and also has served as a higher education and organizational development consultant at higher education institutions and organizations in the US and abroad. Dr. Whitaker holds a Doctorate in Management, Technology and IS, as well as a Doctor of Management in Organizational Process Management from the University of Maryland University College. She also holds: a Master of Arts, Christian Leadership, from Grand Canyon University School of Theology; a Master of Science, Information Technology, from University of Maryland University College; and a Master of Science, Labor Studies, from the University of the District of Columbia, Washington, DC. Most recently, Dr. Whitaker has served as President of Dominion Theological Seminary in Accra, Ghana. When Dr. Whitaker is in the US, she lives in Reston, Virginia.
