Missional University is pleased to welcome Dr. Kris Kappler to the School of Missional Practice. Dr. Kappler serves as Professor of Missional Planting and is a specialist in Intercultural Congregations. Dr. Kappler brings an extensive background in discipleship, missions, evangelism, and intercultural communication of the gospel to the Missional Congregations department of Missional University. Dr. Kappler has had the opportunity to serve internationally for more than 15 years and has had the opportunity to travel extensively. He served as a field missionary in Seoul, Korea and then in Almaty, Kazakhstan. He then served as International Regional Director for Africa in Johannesburg for One Mission Society for three years. Dr. Kappler holds a Doctor of Missiology from Asbury Theological Seminary, Wilmore, Ky. He also holds a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Deerfield, IL. Most recently, Dr. Kappler has served as a Pastor living in East Tawas, Michigan.
