The School of Theological Studies is excited to welcome Segbegnon Mathieu Gnonhossou to Missional University. He serves as Professor of African Theology in the Cultural & Contextual Theology department and is a specialist in Public Theology. Dr. Gnonhossou holds a Ph.D. in Public Theology from The University of Manchester in Manchester, England as well as a Doctor of Ministry in Family and Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. He also holds a Master of Arts in Intercultural Mission from Fresno Pacific University Biblical Seminary and a Master of Arts in Linguistics and Communication Science from Universite d’Abomey-Calavi in Abomey-Calavi, Benin. Dr. Gnonhossou brings significant experience in the classroom to his new role and is passionate about reaching those serving in various African ministries and contexts both in and outside of Africa. Dr. Gnonhossou and his wife live in Nicholasville, Kentucky.
