Professor David Crim has served with the International Mission Board (SBC) as a pastor of an international church in the Philippines as well as a pastor of a church in Hawaii. Previously he served as Editor In Chief at LifeWay Christian Resources in Nashville, Tennessee, where he managed a large publishing schedule, and oversaw a large publishing budget. In this role led a publishing team of creative individuals who designed, created, edited and published Bible studies, training and discipleship materials, and a magazine. Currently Professor Crim is finishing his dissertation on “A Grounded Theory Study of Common Themes in Hermeneutics, Missiology and Orality Toward a More Effective Strategy of Training a New Generation of Pastors, Leaders and Cross-cultural Workers to Complete the Mission Task in the Philippines and Beyond” at Malaysia Baptist Theological Seminary. He serves in two roles at Missional University, both as an Instructor of Graduate Research and Academic Writing and as the Publisher at Missional University Press.
