We are excited to welcome Dr. Carla Thomas to Missional University! She serves as Professor of Environmental Mission in the Environmental Studies department of the School of Ecological Mission. Dr. Thomas brings experience teaching biology, environmental science, biochemistry and environmental conservation to her new role in addition to her primary specialty of environmental toxicology. She also has extensive industrial experience including providing regulatory support and expertise, serving as a subject matter expert on regulatory compliance issues, partnering with and advising manufacturing, R&D, and marketing groups and coordinating corporate project teams and resources to ensure compliance with EPA requirements. Dr. Thomas holds a PhD in Environmental Toxicology from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina. She also holds a Masters in Zoology from the University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica. Dr. Thomas resides in Margate, Florida.
